The standards for aluminum powder paste for aerated bricks are mainly based on the JC/T 407-2000 standard. This standard is issued by the State Bureau of Building Materials Industry and specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation of wet-grinding aluminum powder paste. The standard applies to aluminum powder paste used as a gasifier for aerated concrete.

 

Preparation process of aluminum powder paste

Raw material quality control: When using aluminum foil scraps as raw materials, you need to select the foil first, pick out the oxidized foil, and separate the aluminum foils of different thicknesses to ensure uniform thickness of the raw materials. When using aluminum ingots as raw materials, ensure that there are no oxides and the particle size is uniform.

Ball milling: Put the screened aluminum foil or aluminum particles and the aqueous solution with various additives into the ball mill for grinding. During the grinding process, the temperature inside the machine should be strictly controlled. If the temperature is too high, it can be adjusted by water cooling. Stop the machine after the material fineness reaches the requirement.

Discharging: After the ball mill stops, immediately add the pre-prepared discharging liquid into the machine, start the machine and run it for 3~5 minutes to dilute the material in the machine, and then use the discharging machine to suck the material into the temporary storage tank. Then use 30~50kg of clean water to rinse the residual material in the machine.

Dehydration: Use special dehydration equipment for dehydration.

Features of aerated bricks

Light weight: The general weight of aerated concrete blocks is 500-700kg/m³, which is only 1/4-1/5 of clay bricks and 1/5 of ordinary concrete, and the deadweight is reduced by more than 40%.

Good thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity of aerated concrete is 1/6 of that of ordinary concrete, and the thermal insulation performance is much better than that of a 240mm thick clay brick wall.

Strong earthquake resistance: Aerated concrete has light capacity, good overall performance, small inertia force during earthquakes, and has a certain earthquake resistance.

Good processing performance: Aerated concrete can be sawed, planed, nailed, milled, and drilled, making construction convenient and flexible. High temperature resistance: When the temperature is below 600 degrees, its compressive strength increases slightly, and its fire resistance reaches the national first-level fire resistance standard. Good sound insulation performance: The internal structure of aerated concrete has a large number of pores evenly distributed, which has good sound insulation effect.
