The role and impact of aluminum powder paste

Aluminum powder paste is mainly used for gasification and formation of pores in aerated brick production, thereby affecting the density and strength of the brick body. The amount of aluminum powder paste needs to be adjusted according to specific production needs and target volume density. In theory, the gas production of aluminum powder can be calculated by chemical reaction, but in actual production, due to the influence of factors such as temperature and slurry consistency, the amount of aluminum powder paste is usually adjusted through practical experience and fine-tuned at any time.

 

Technical requirements and quality standards of aluminum powder paste

Aluminum powder paste is divided into oil-type and water-type, and its technical requirements include indicators such as solid content, fineness, gas generation rate, water dispersibility and active aluminum content. For example, the solid content of oil-based aluminum powder paste GLY-75 should be 75%, gas evolution rate 90%, water dispersibility 80%, and active aluminum 50%. These standards ensure the stability and effect of aluminum powder paste in the production of aerated bricks.
